The Clinical Information Consultancy was founded in 1989. Its main focus is on the use of information systems by healthcare professionals for clinical and clinically related purposes.
It has successfully undertaken assignments for:
- UK NHS Executive, Health Authorities and many other bodies.
- The College of American Pathologists (SNOMED)
- Hospitals, General Practices and Professionals from many health care disciplines.
- Information system suppliers and vendors.
- The European Commission and the European Standards Committee (CEN).
- Various academic and health related organisations in Europe and the US.
In 2004 the Clinical Information Consultancy Ltd took over the business of the former sole-trader operation. This change in no way altered the philosophy of the company and we continue to provide a service based on expertise and experience delivered personally.
Independence
The Clinical Information Consultancy Ltd is a small privately owned limited company with no commercial interest in any other organisation that supplies goods or services to the NHS or to European health service providers.
