Andrew Perry

Andrew Perry, MB ChB is Senior Health Informatics Analyst at the Clinical Information Consultancy Ltd.

Andrew qualified in medicine and then in computer science. He was Senior Applications Consultant for a clinical information system supplier for three years. He joined the Clinical Information Consultancy in 1994. Since joining CIC Andrew has assumed primary responsibility for work connected with data collection from general practice. In this role he has taken charge of our continuing involvement in the MIQUEST project. He has also been leading work related to communication of clinical information using HL7 Version 3 messages and clinical terminologies including SNOMED Clinical Terms.

Andrew is a Co-chair of the HL7 Clinical Statement Project and also chairs the HL7 UK Clinical Statement Subgroup.
