HL7 Clinical Statements Course
This course provides an understanding of the HL7 Clinical Statement pattern. This pattern is the common part of the information model underlying all HL7 Version 3 standards concerned with representation and exchange of clinical information and is one of the keys to semantic interoperability.
Standards based on the Clinical Statement pattern include Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), Provision of Care messages, Orders and Observation messages as well as many of the messages used in the UK by NHS Connecting for Health.
- Attendees will get more out of this half-day course if it is combined with one or more of our other courses for example:
- Preceed this course with either the half-day HL7 Version 3 Introductory Course or the full-day HL7 Version 3 Foundation Course to provide a more detailed understanding of the modeling and implementation of HL7 Version 3 based messages.
