SNOMED CT Introductory Course

Half-day introductory course suitable for clinical users and health services managers. This course provides an overview of the value of SNOMED CT^® and how it relates to other terminologies and classification.

While this course covers a similar scope to the Foundation Course it does so at a much less detailed level.

This course provides adequate background for the HL7 TermInfo Course and for the Using CliniClue to explore SNOMED CT Workshop.

Those intending to move on to the Advanced Course and Technical Implementers Course are recommended to take the Foundation Course rather than this course.
